LATIN SCHOOL research
Role: Project Manager.
The Latin school wanted to look how they could expand their existing facilities and possible acquire new property for future expansion. For this we engaged with them on a nine month research project.
One of the big questions was where was the future of education going and how could the built environment reinforce it. We evaluated their existing facilities toured their pier institutions and talked to experts in the education field. We also interviewed and immersed with the staff and students to see what their experiences were.
The result of the research lead to the start of their renovation program. The first two projects were a renovation to their cafeteria and library. The next project was adding a bridge between the upper school and middle school for better circulation and better student interaction between the grades.
