Sketchbook Brewing Tap Room
Role: Project Manager
This was my first project that grew out of my contacts in the brewing community. Sketchbook Brewing was looking for tap room space and a 900 sf space opened up in front of their brewing location. It was a small space, but it gave them a frontage on Chicago Ave in Evanston.
After talking with the owners about their goals, we decided that a single iconic element would be the best way to go for the space.
Their DYI attitude for the project lead us to the local salvage company where we found old wood flooring and the idea of the portal was born for the bar. The bar top is part of an old bowling lane.
